The work that we present here is not just another monograph village, but takes the form of an appointment, we hope annual, with population Lumiaise. The association which is the result (the Circle of Study and Historical Research Lumiu) formed around individuals (scientists, students, but also inhabitants of Lumiu all fans) who have as will the rediscovery of their history and its preservation.
In this first booklet, we offer a series of articles covering a wide part of the history of our village, it opens with an overview of archaeological research and the remains of Lumiu surface the municipality, continues with two studies of the Neolithic village of Fuat and the spur of Monte Ortu, a search of routes, part of the history of the Brotherhood Saint Antoine, articles on the surnames of the village and on pastoralism and finally, the "m'arricordu" which one wants to open to anyone with something to say about recent history and village life.
