To accelerate the speed of your PC, you can also proceed as follows:
1. enter into the registry (click Start and then Run, type regedit. Note: In Windows Vista, or suufit click on it & d laugh and then enter regedit in the text box just above the Start button )
2. open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\ SYSTEM \\ CurrentControlSet \\ Control \\ Session Manager \\ Memory Management
3.modifiez the value of the following key: ClearPageFileAtShutdown
4. this value defaults to 0 put 1
So windows will delete swap files at each stop of the PC. Increasing the size of the size of this file is causing delays.
